Emma Mazzullo, Director



Emma has worked in the landscape design industry for over 35 years including working both for architectural and design & build firms and for over 20 years she was Practice Director for Arabella Lennox-Boyd. She has overseen commercial and domestic landscape projects ranging from a half acre roof garden in the City of London and three gold winning Chelsea Flower Show gardens to many large private and commercial landscapes in Britain, Europe, Russia and America. Emma’s technical and organisational skills have proved invaluable in managing projects in both the public and private sectors, including experience in dealing with various authorities and development corporations.

Emma studied Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University, obtaining a BA (Hons) and Dip LA. and is a past external examiner for the degree in Garden Design. She is also a chartered member of the Landscape Institute and is a Fellow of the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers. She currently sits on the panel of adjudicators and acts as a mentor for the Society of Garden Designers as well as undertaking training for them in professional practice.

Libby Russell, Director



Libby has worked for over 25 years in landscape design and has designed and managed projects all over the UK and Europe ranging from large country estates and town gardens to Mediterranean gardens as well as gardens in France, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus and Spain. She embraces all elements of the landscape design process but has a particular love of planting and is responsible for all planting within the practice.

Libby has various other professional qualifications from her previous careers in the City and tourism marketing prior to obtaining her MA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich but landscape and gardens have always been her passion. She is a true plantswoman and runs her own gardens in Somerset, London and Greece. She was a Vice-Chairman of the RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee, is an RHS judge and has recently Co-Chaired the RHS Nepeta Plant Trials with Fergus Garrett. She is also a registered member of the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers. Her garden at Batcombe House, Somerset is open to the public and garden tours via the National Gardens Society (NGS). Libby lectures on landscape design and is a French speaker who loves life in both in the UK and Greece.

William Peel, Associate



With a background in Architecture, William transferred to the Inchbald School of Design where he obtained a Diploma in Garden Design during which time he also worked for a design and build practice, and after his studies, for Arabella Lennox-Boyd for a number of years. William has experience working on a wide range of projects from major landscapes in America and Russia to high-end gardens in London.

William works on projects throughout the design process from inception and concept design to the detailed design and construction stage, as well as overseeing and managing projects on site through to completion. He brings a strong eye for detail and is highly skilled in both hand-drawn and computer graphics including 3D modelling. He is also a registered member of the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers.

Alice Constantine, Designer



Alice is a Part II Architect with a diverse background in both architecture and landscape design. During her Master’s studies in Architecture, she gained valuable experience working with renowned landscape designer Christopher Bradley-Hole on a range of prestigious private gardens and public landscape projects. She went on to further her expertise at Andy Sturgeon Design in Brighton, contributing to a variety of high-profile schemes. In July 2025, Alice joined Mazzullo + Russell after completing the Planting Design Diploma at the London College of Garden Design, graduating with Distinction.

Helen Haley, Designer



Helen joined Mazzullo + Russell in September 2025, where she supports Libby with planting design as well as assisting the team on projects across all scales and stages.

Helen graduated with a distinction from the KLC Garden Design Diploma in December 2024. She went on to co-design a medal-winning show garden at RHS Hampton Court in summer 2025, alongside a variety of private garden design projects.

Helen started her horticultural career as a gardener, gaining her RHS Level 2 via the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and working for a year within the gardens of Hever Castle as part of the WRAGS scheme. Before horticulture, Helen worked as a solicitor at London law firm Farrer & Co, specialising in data protection, Freedom of Information and a variety of other commercial and intellectual property matters.
